The War of the Copper Prince
Overview
war was between Alea and Korbrea , it started over a mine, but got personal when the prince of Korbrea was killed.The Prince was courting a powerful woman from Alea , who was to inherit a large farm, and claims to lands outside of Alea. He is assassinated, and the war went from a small scale attack, to a region wide war that saw the most power fighters and adventurers killed in action as field battles and party battles are common.

The Conflict
Prelude
Korbrea's mining exploration pushes closer and closer to Alea, but it is an Alean party that discovers copper on the edges of its borders of influence. Korbrea's men are there soon after and put up fortifications before the men from Alea return. This skirmish causes both sides to call for support, and quickly talks break down.
Deployment
The disputed mine is the scene of the first major battle, with hundreds of troops on either side, but a second, much larger, battle happens a few miles away just two days later, where Korbrea's army makes a strong victory.
The Engagement
Within a few weeks the Prince of Korbrea is dead, and Korbrea turns it into a blood feud. The war would only end with an internal coup inside Alea.
Outcome
Alea has a new King, Korbrea has a new copper mine.
Aftermath
The economies of both cities suffer greatly, and the adventuring population of Uzta generally is diminished.

Legacy
The War of the Copper Prince was the first major war in decades and shaped a generation. Its dark magic scars the land and has resulted in surging monster populations.
