Roller of Death

Gambler is the reaper Theotian of insectkind and travel. Of the original pantheon, Gambler has managed the transition of souls for all of Aldebaran's lifetime. The ferryman of the Astral Asteroids that guide souls through their Journey, Gambler ensures all reach their destination.
Gambler used to just be called the Reaper. Throughout the centuries though, it would seem the god got bored of simply making sure souls reentered the threads of fate. It is said that the god now plays a game with his passenger, somehow altering their next life's path. One would think he would have some hand in fate, but Gambler totes no such domain.
The Gambler has a large following within Aldebaran. Many actual gamblers enjoy worshiping the god, insectkind revers him, those that follow the natural order, and more. His clergy are encouraged to bring about the end of creatures in their final moments, so they may begin their Journey. Unlike The Gentle Mourning, how they do so is up to the priest. Death isn't some fantastic and respected thing to a follower of The Gambler. It can be, but it just as well might be something they enjoy doing, maybe even a little too much. Not that the Reaper would grant his powers to someone who abused them, but he is rather lax. For those that faithfully follow the Gambler and meet early end, one final game is specifically played between them and their god. There have been many clerics within history that have seemingly come back to life on their own.
Gambler is also associated with travel, especially through the Astral Plane. His boats are asteroids, traveling quickly through the nearly infinite expanse. It is said that Gambler has travelled and explored all of the realms of Aldebaran, worldy wise in a way no other can compare. His followers are encouraged to do the same.
