Weski

Mousefolk have existed since the beginning of life on Aldebaran. Having originated likely from the continent of Wom'lai, they are a race that has earned proper respect. Consisting of extremely large families, they tackle problems with numbers, intelligence, personality, and finesse. Extremely dedicated to each other, family is the most important aspect to a Mousefolk. To cause offense to a single family member is to incite the wrath of all of them. That is not to say they are easily angered however. Rather, the average Mousefolk is understanding and easy going, taking things in stride and enjoying life. The hold very little stereotype towards other races, rather viewing them as individuals and who each have merits and qualities of their own. There are only few races they have certain predispositions for. An ancient grudge between them and ratfolk exist, and the two races hate each other deeply. Oddly enough, Mousefolk have no ill will towards Catfolk and vice versa.   It is not uncommon for a Mousefolk to leave ones family behind, but to leave on bad terms is something else. A sense of travel and wonder sweeps through some children of Mousefolk, and many do become adventurers and travellers. They seek new things similar to that of Gnomes, but they normally return to their family after having sated this urge. However, some few Mousefolk break ties with family in a bad way, and these individuals become hateful, nasty creatures. Seeking refuge and solitude they become angry hermits of the woods or alleys, spiteful adventurers, or even worse. Such a thing is rare though.
