Regin (RE gin)

Regin is the written language exclusive to the Elf. With long memories, it was natural for the elves to never develop a need for written information in the ancient world. After the fall of the Areian Nations and the loss of history with such death, as well as the diminishing lifespan of the younger elves, a recording system was developed by the elves of Zalpula, giving birth to the written word of Regin. Technically not a language, but rather a writing system, the Zalpula elves used the long existing Dwarven Alphabet as a base for their own.
