Making up the central lands of Novyum, it was inevitable that the region known as 'the Heartlands' would become the core of every major civilization in Ethae history. Once home to vast endless forest of Saquutu, ages of occupation has resulted in only small relatively controlled forests remaining in the modern day. The region today is covered in farmlands and country roads. Centered around Lake Roic, it is a land of rolling palins, feed by reliable rivers that web the landscape. The Heartlands' temperate climate makes for mild winters and gentle summers.
