Tolen Calendar

the Records of the Farlands

While the Siduum Calendar is the universal dating system of the Jenuwan Order, as well as scholars across Ethae, many regional calendars have appeared over time. These calendars are usually localized to a kingdom or region and based on the birth of someone important, a historic even, or other marker for the people. The Tolen Calendar of the Tinjir is one such calendar. It is based on the crowning of Tolen Soter as the King of All the Farlands. It was largely localized to the Soter court's recordkeeping during Tolen's lifetime, but spread in the generations to follow, becoming the official calendar of the nations of Tinjir in the modern day.

The Tolen Calendar follows the dating system of the Siduum Calendar, in its days, month, and years, with the only difference being the use of the year 6666sc, the year of Tolen's crowning as year 0tc. The Tolen Calendar also uses the traditional Farlands months names, rather than the traditional Siduum Calendar names.
