Lolth

(a.k.a. Hinaseen)

One of eight elven queens who performed a ritual to ascend to godhood aeons ago. The ritual was sabotaged, causing the deaths of many of their devoted followers, but it succeeded in the end.
At some point after the ritual, the goddess Hinaseen broke away from her sisters and took the name Lolth. She is currently imprisoned in the Abyss, though many drow still worship her.
