Queen Elvadriendel (a.k.a. Elvadrie)
Elvadriendel is the current queen of Aíana. She is very young and relatively inexperienced, but since taking a more active role in politics she's on track to gain the respect of her people.
Elvadrie was never meant to be the queen. One of the youngest of the royal offspring, she would have been cast off- likely without so much as a title- had the royal harem not been massacred by rivals in Nilathyr. Elvadrie only survived because she was off with her lover, the soldier Auric, but the two ended up being captured anyway.
Upon first meeting the queen, very little would be suspected of her. She looks as young as she is, is very pretty, and acts rather flighty. Other than a penchant for swearing and informality, she's far less terrifying than her reputation suggests. However that reputation is in place for a reason, and when bothered Elvadrie is a vicious, sadistic young woman who will not hesitate to act for herself and her crown.
