L.I.M.A is a group created by the Federation of Mars' government to manipulate and control its citizens. By attributing various crimes and terrorist activities to this fictitious group, the federation aimed to create a common enemy, uniting the citizens against a perceived threat.
Creation
L.I.M.A was created by Mars' CISICA after they conducted a raid on a small family buisness on the basis of treason and plotting against the Federation. After the raid, the public was outraged and most space-faring civilizations condemned the Federation which caused them to conduct Project Lime.
Project Lime was conducted by CISICA to justify their oppression of the people and to create a common enemy which will take the spotlight off of their atrocities towards citizens of the federation.
Crimes Attributed to L.I.M.A
New Shania Tower Terrorist Attack
The New Shania Tower Attack was a terrorist attack comitted by the government and falsley attributed to L.I.M.A. The New Shania Tower was a symbol of Shanian patriotism, representing the unity and resiliance of the Shanians.
About 23 remote detonated bombs, 12 drones, and 3 missile strikes hit the tower and completely destroyed it.
PSA investigations revealed that the Federation commited the attack, but they were not able to psread the truth inside the oppressed human territory.
Attacks on Jutoria
Jutoria is the largest city and capital of The Jovian Union. It is home to about 55 million people, 90% of which are of the native Jovian Population, 5% humans, and 5% others. Many of the humans in Jutoria are either extremist or in gangs, or both.
According to classifed government files leaked by the
PSA, the attacks were conducted by CISICA in cooperation with several human extremist groups in Jutoria. Project Renew, as they called it, was meant to erase a large portion of the Jovian population to ensure human dominance in the region.
However, most of the attacks failed, with the SJCA (Supreme Jutorian Council Army) defending the city, the groups and disguised government forces were quickly dealt with without causing much damage, as the government tried not to spend too much of its budget to not be suspicious.
The most succesful attack was the Jutor-Ijomi Raid. Jutor was a large town located in the heart of Jutoria, which made it very busy and filled with tourists and gathering places. Ijomi, however, was a small, private town at the very top of the city. It was founded by M'oj Ijomi to host the ultra-rich and elites of the region. It housed many politicians and influential corporate managers. Ijomi is often seen as a symbol of the corporatism and elitism of Jutoria.
The raid was short and bloody, beginning in Ijomi to try to eliminate some important persons in the city, and ending in Jutor to cause chaos and murder as many Jovians as they could.
