Enoch III

Summary

Enoch III, also called Enoch Main or simply Planet, is a habitable planet in the Enochian System. (See Enoch System Survey for more information about the system and other planets therein.) It is dominated with marine ocean with two major continents, one lesser continent, an extensive volcanic archipelago, and a northern glacial sheet. Several features have been identified following the initial survey.

The history of Enoch III is currently unknown.

Regional Features

Primaria, the largest Enochian III continent, is dominated by a mountain range and the large high altitude fresh water sea. As a valuable source of fresh water, Boundless Horizons, Founded 2120 CE was founded on its eastern edge. This freshwater sea spills over into a massive valley system to the east of the sea. To the south of the mountain range are massive grasslands pockmarked by low wetlands and rocky escarpments in the region. To the north continues the mountain range before leading to minor ice shelf formation and a marine-separated island.
Meridia marks the "center" of the Enochian maps. Its western expanse is overgrown with rain forests and riddled with slowly flowing streams. Its high country is steep and rocky, marred by lakes that feed through waterfalls before winding into the forested regions below. The eastern edge is arid save for the flood valley of its primary stream that has generated an expansive delta.
The Borealis ice shelf to the northeast of the map is a low lying sheet of ice. It likely extends into the northern regions during the winter months on Enoch, though its specifics are thus far uncharted.
Three extensive archipelagos etch the eastern ocean of Enoch III. The Meridia Volcanic Crest extends from the southeastern tip of Meridia into the eastern ocean in a long, inverted arch. It is volcanically active with several hot spots arising regularly. While at first appearing part of the same feature, the Shattercliff Archipelago appears to be part of a geologically dormant feature midway between Meridia and Primaria in the eastern ocean. Stretching from the southern tip of the Borealis continent is the Borealis Tail, a stretch of islands in the north of the eastern ocean.

History

The first camp of Enoch III was founded on July 12, 2120 at the edge of the high altitude sea in the Primaria continent. The nearby river and waterfall present potential for energy production, the fresh water sea provides abundant water resources, and the nearby mountains are likely candidates for mineral extraction.
