Weyland-Yutani sends colony ship to Origae-8, distress beacon lures colonist to planet 4. Two Colonist are infected by neomorph spores, bloodbursters are born. Most of the ground team dies from juvenile neomorph. David saves remaining ground team but the rest of the ground save for four are either killed by an adult neomorph or a praetomorph. Surviving ground team kill the neomorph and praetomorph. Ground Team departs planet 4 on the covenant. One crew member was infected, a new praetomorph is born on the Covenant. Two crew members are killed, Praetomorph is jettison out of airlock.

After the merger of Weyland Corp and Yutani Corporation, the USCSS Covenant is sent out with 2,000 crew and embryos onboard to colonize the planet Origae-6. The covenant was outfitted with a david-model android called Walter. After being hit with a neutrino flare, the Covenant awakens select crew members to repair the damage. Unfortunately the covenant lost their captain. Oram was promoted to captain from here on out. A signal transmitted from Planet 4 caught the crew of the covenant’s attention. Once landed on the planet, its lush forests and habitability concealed the planet’s dark secret. The lack of animal life aroused suspicion in the covenant’s crew and shortly afterwards two crew members were infected with neomorph spores. After both neomorph bloodbursters were born, they quickly eliminated all perceived threats. David 8 from the failed Prometheus mission, quickly rescued the covenant ground crew though they were reduced to a handful of people. The two bloodbursters quickly matured into adult Neomorphs, one came to attack and kill a lone covenant crewmember. David 8 attempts to communicate with the alien but It was shortly eliminated by the covenant’s captain Oram. David 8 distraught led Captain Oram into his lab, where he created a set of ovomorphs out of the now deceased mutated Dr. Shaw’s eggs. The ovomorph contained fully developed praetomorph facehuggers, which soon infected Oram. Shortly afterwards a praetomorph chestburster emerges from Oram’s ribcage, soon the chestburster matures into an adult praetomorph.   The praetomorph attacks and kills one of the covenant ground crew, while a praetomorph facehugger briefly attaches itself to one of the crew members. David 8 attempts to attack a crew member Daniels but is rescued by Walter. The covenant ground crew are then rescued by a rescued ship sent from the Covenant. Walter is replaced with David 8 after their fight and while obtaining lift off the praetomorph leaves the mala’kak temple only to fight off a neomorph before returning its attention to the rescueship, it quickly jumps onboard the rescue ship. It is soon destroyed by Danieles. The remaining ground crew, once a team of eleven, now only four came back alive. Shortly after situating themselves on the covenant, the crew member that was briefly facehugged dies from a chestburster and soon the praetomorph matures into adulthood. It kills two crew members taking a shower before ultimately chasing down Danieles. Daniels attempts to blow the creature out of the airlock however the praetomorph manages to climb back onboard the covenant before leaping at Daniels but she tricks the praetomorph to impales itself on one of the bulldozers before allowing the bulldozer with alien on its dozer spike to plummet to the planet below. While being placed into hypersleep, Daniels learns too late that David had replaced Walter.
