Battles of the Forest

In the middle of The Before Times the human populations were starting to expand their empires and claim more territory. The elves who survived the fall at the end of the Era of the Long Lived had started to rebuild small communities in the Forest of the Long Lived.
The elf communities were not happy that the humans had started cutting down their forests. The elves had advantage because they were familiar with the forests but their numbers were just too small. The war ended when the humans had enough wood to build their cities and felt that their kingdoms were large enough.
