Ruka Cactus

The Ruki Cactus is a large balloon like cacti. Native to the White Wasteland the Farin-Yas Loxodon use it as a water source when they travel for long distances.    Preparation for travel consists of a significant time dedicated to removing the spines from Ruka Cactus fruits. The skin of the cactus is thick and rubbery, able to protect the watery fruit for a up to two weeks without spoiling. In addition to being a good source of water, the fruit has a slightly sweet taste that many find appetizing.
