The owner of the casino is a sturdy, elderly human known as Sharp Jo. She is usually in her office but also visits the other areas of the casino twice a day.
Sharp Jo was a famous underworld adventurer a few decades ago. At some point, she was arrested and spent two years in jail. She learned a lot about gambling in prison and came up with the idea of the casino. After being released, Sharp Jo decided to open up a Casino The Grinning Gjinn. Her contacts in the underworld and experience in criminal activities were fundamental to having the success she does. Nowadays, she enjoys the protection from the Storm Peak Clan in the city which she has pampered from time to time to gain their favor.
When she met Alcath Cinderarm she reconqized him from letters written by his mentor Shamino. Alcath told her he had died 6 years ago. She acted confused and said she stopped recieving letters from his no later than 2 years ago.
