Residuum is a magicaly substance that is a byeproduct of Disenchanting Items. It is also needed in the process to Disenchant an item. The cycle of use and by product make the item very rare and a very coveteed product amoung enchanters. Alcath talks to Val to find out how to destroy Vozgans Rings. Val eplains the process of destroying magic in much harding that creating it. One must use a powder call Residuum inorder to extract the magic from an item. Val is currently out of stock as it is a very rare and hard substance to find. They do have some astral diamonds.   Residuum can be extracted from astral diamonds (essentially crystallized residuum) and also produced from the bones of magical beings.   One of the known ways of gettting Residuum is using the acid from an Ancient Black Dragon to refine the Astral Diamonds.   There are rumors some have used it as a narcotic a person could inhale/ingest to get a type of magical high. Due to is scarcety this is only said to be done by the most wealthy and brave.
