Welcome to Allrlund Future

Welcome to the End of Times

On the world of Allrlund the End of Times has come and gone, but the vestigages of mortality stubbornly scrape out a living on the moon above. Demonic hordes, infernal legions, armies of the undead, and flights of dragons duke it out in The War of Blood and Bone for control of the torched planet. All but a few gods have stopped answering their prayers but new works of magic and machinery have allowed magi and the common folk alike to wield mighty arcane power at the pull of a trigger.

The cycle of life has ended. A new child of any mortal race has not been born since the End of Times, but advances in Corpomancy and the invention of Phylac-Tek has made death much easier to escape. The remaining people of the world are living on borrowed time. During the End of Times the Circle of Eight, then a mysterious cult and mageocray, evacuated millions of people to the moon Selune above in a last ditch effort to preserve life. Evacuaees were turned to stone and teleported to Selune where they were frozen into the ice for long term storage in The Vault of Souls until there was enough infrastructure to support life. Today millions still remain frozen in the Vault, unaware of the passing of time around them.

The people of Selune are a mixed bag. Revived from the Vault of Souls at random, they represent every race, ethnicity, and class. In the beginning the Circle of Eight forcibly evacuated anyone they could - disappearing whole villages and communities in the night. Once it became clear that there was no hope for the world, they were innundated by evacuees who were bold enough to take the leap of faith into an uncertain future. In light of the end of the world, many have abandoned tradional divisions such as race, but others cling to the old ways of tribalism as a sense of belonging. Phylac-Tek has complicated the matter of race as Jumpers may wear a different Shell whenever they chose.
