Tiwab

God of Romance & Competition Tiwab

Tiwab is a God who bears the appearance of a young Halfling man in Clye Shesh history and current culture. Tiwab is considered the god of romance and competition. He is also considered the protector of those who show bravery and endurance of spirit, throwing their hand into any contest. He has an enchanted rose embroidered capelet that inspires those who see him to rise to their greatest ability. Tiwab also serves as a guide to those who wish to meet their match, whether in mind, sport, or intellect. In myth, Tiwab can pull competitors along on a scarlet rope to meet their match. Tiwab is also described as a prolific lover, having children with both the Human Goddess Tarath, and also the Halfling Goddess Llamby. He is regarded as "the divine seductor," for which the prominent Bard Selapele offers the most popular account in their song Ballad of Tiwab.   His attributes and symbols include the rose, a scarlet rope, goats, trophies, a rapier, as well as flowering trees, the number two, and incense.
