An Archfey of the Twilight Court and one of the few Archfey to join the Twilight Court when it was formed by The Woodland Witch.

Personal history

Alerva was once a member of the Winter Court but had a falling out with The Queen of Air and Darkness when she was ordered to sacrifice a mortal who had displeased the Queen. Alerva had been befriended by the Mortal in question and instead tried to hide them away from the Queen, only to witness their murder at the hands of a Pixie.
After that she fled the Winter Court and found herself among the realm of the Woodland Witch. She begged the Witch to allow her to remain within her domain and they struck upon a deal. Alerva would give up her sight in exchange for the Witch's protection. The deal was agreed to and Alerva began wandering the Witch's domain using her staff as a guide.
When the Woodland Witch formed the Twilight Court, Alerva leapt at the chance to serve and joined the Court. She has grown accustomed to her blindness and now prefers it, as she can show up her former allies from the winter Court while unable to see. The Witch offered to restore her sight but Alerva refused, stating she has grown to used to the dark void and wishes to remain. She acts as a warden for the lands of the Twilight Court, stopping any who enter the forests of the Court and dispatching them should they prove a threat.
She excels at using her innate magics to remove foes, and her power is similar to that of Druidic Practices. She has a small sparrow that acts as her constant companion on her travels.
