Ykiza Ashdew is the Head Conductor of the Starlight Express and one of the lead Inventive minds of Dragonholme.

Personal history
Following her Parent's Ascension, Ykiza officially moved into the Dragon's Den, despite her essentially living there already anyway. She, Gilroy, Karieed and Orgos set about creating a design that took them over a century to complete but became Legendary within its first few years of Operation, The Starlight Express. This Project utilized all of their skills, Ykiza's knowledge was used to create the Frame to contain its power Source, a fraction of her Father's severed power that allows the Magical Engine to cross the Planes as it needs. The alloy the group used to create the Engine is unknown and they have kept their secret all these years to astounding effect.
Following the construction, Ykiza took up the duty of commanding the Engine. While she is not neccessary for the Engine to work, as it is semi self aware and will operate on its own perfectly fine, she streamlines many of its processes and ensures a smoother ride for its passengers, a duty she prided herself on being the best at, until her Son was created on board. In the intervening years Ykiza has spent the Majority of her time heading the Starlight Express or within Dragonholme as a member of the Ashdew Steelworks. She and her partners spend a great deal of time in each other's company and never spend more than a few weeks apart before they regroup.
