Lesser Vampire

The lowest member of the Nobility within Barovia, the Lesser Vampires are actual members of the noble houses and it is an honor to reach even this state. These Vampires generally are assigned to a High vampire or Noble Vampire and act as retainers or assistants, whatever the case may be. These Vampires can become Higher vampires if they perform their service well, though ascending requires them to drink the blood of a High Vampire, something that the elite are loath to do. They gain benefits of their station, regeneration of wounds, enhanced strength and speed and depending on their house other abilities as well. They do also suffer in the sunlight, though only to a minor degree, it limits their regeneration and causes their sight to be hampered.
