Geography
The Surface of Minura has been observed through telescopes and scrying and has been found to be hospitable to life, though the life that grows there is affected by strange pulses of magic that come from beneath the surface and most magical scholars agree that any form of long term habitation would fail.
It's surface is almost wholly covered by Forests of Red leaved trees that sustain themselves with water that flows beneath the surface. The water itself is Dark Red bordering on Black color.
Ecosystem
The Forests of Minura sustain themselves on the red water that flows beneath the surface. The forests are home to various small creatures but anything larger than rodents seems to have never evolved or has since died out.
Localized Phenomena
The Surface of the moon hums with Magic that pulses throughout the terrain on a regular basis. This magic can cause harm if creatures not native to the moon reside on it for extended periods. Side effects include internal hemmoraging, Incurable sickness and a weakened body.
Climate
The moon features a temperate climate and is pleasant for most creatures.
History
According to records from the Old World the Gnomes had managed to set up a sizeable settlement on the surface before all the inhabitants died out within months. In the available records the cause was unclear and it seems the records of such were intentionally destroyed.
