The Abyss

The Abyss is the Plane at the bottom of the Multiverse. It where the refuse and scum of the other planes end up eventually. Here the Demons and other unfortunate inhabitants wage war against eachother and kill one another in an endless cycle of violence. The only authority within the Abyss is strength, if you are strong you can decide things and if you are not you are killed or under anothers control. Demon Lords rule the Abyss and command other Demons to do their bidding. Demon Lords wield power akin but seperate from the Gods divine power. It is bordered within the Multiverse only by the Plane of Baator, also known as the Nine Hells.
