Personal history
Taivo was born from a split egg fashioned by his mother, along with his sibling, Suyuzu. Taivo was a strong child, more so than most dragons, though his mother worried about his ill temperment. He was a violent and destructive creature and she worried that he would present a danger to his sibling, and so she trained him in the use of the Kanabo, to hopefully give him an outlet for his violence. For a time this worked but all to soon issues began to arise as he challenged the local Ogre tribes to duels and crushed them effortlessly.
One of his duels ended particularly viciously as he slew a retreating opponent in front of thee tribe. The tribe followed him back to his mother's nest and they launched an attack in the dead of night, capturing both Suyuzu and his mother, though Taivo managed to escape the nets and snares. Taivo watched as his mother sacrificed herself to free Suyuzu, and her last words were a wish for the two of them to live in peace. Taivo later returned to the tribe's village and massacred them, to Suyuzu's horror.
They parted ways after that, with Suyuzu fashioning themself a home in a cave while Taivo roamed the mountains looking for creatures to challenge his might. He was bested by the Group of Mercenaries known as the Iron Hounds, bound in chains and offered to Mazerath, who saw potential in him. He offered the young dragon a choice, serve him and he would revive the dragon's mother. Taivo did accept and now serves as a Leader of Mazerath's forces.
