Vera is a skilled swordswoman and is never far from her retainer Geneveve. She is currently in command of the Forosian Soldiers within Evergarden who are halting the Empire's invasion. She was a frontline commander until she and Geneveve encountered Emperor Autrion Haman, the duo survived but were forced to return to Everlight to be healed. The Priests were unable to save Vera's Left eye and Geneveve lost her right leg, though they were able to obtain a prostehtic for her.
Rumors circulate of her relationship with Geneveve as Changelings are distrusted, though both the King and Queen have dismissed these rumors.
