Vederan

Vederan, also known as the Unknown Continent, was home to the mighty elven cities of old. Out of the nine elven cities the rose to power during the First Age only Solra, the Shining City remains. The rest are all ruins slowly being reclaimed by nature. Over 90% of the continent is considered to be one of the three most dangerous places on Aloran. Every couple hundred years some foolish group of creatures decides to build a settlement within the continent. These people are often never heard from again. One of the other things that makes the continent so unique and notable is the Plant Beasts that reside there.

Geography

Vederan is primarily covered in hills, plains, mountains and valleys. The only two areas are different. The land to the east is covered in a large desert and the southern peninsula is mostly covered in swampland.

Fauna & Flora

Most of the continent is covered in dense jungles, forests and a swamp. Other than that little is known about the flora and fauna of Vederan.

Natural Resources

Vederan was once known to be rich in almost every resource known. Unfortunately that was back in the First Age. Now no one knows what lies in the bulk of the of the continent.
