Cresthall
Demographics
Cresthall is not a city with a vast diversity when it comes to races. The city is moslty inhabited by Revanians. There are people of other races who has made Cresthall their home, but there is no major group of any other race within the city. A few dwarves live within the city but their numbers do not reach beyond a few dozen. The rest of the mixed races makes up less than 1% of the population.
Government
Cresthall is part of the kingdom of Revendell and obeys its laws and decisions. However, the city itself is and has always been governed by a branch family of the Whitehall family. Which family who has held the seat of power in Cresthall has changed many times over the centuries but it is currently the home to the Whitesun family. Cresthall has been given much room for self governing because of the trust they share with the royal family and the rest of the kingdom. This has also been greatly improved after the The Whitehall Rebellion, where they supported Victravor III Whitehall and sheltered the rest of his family.
Defences
Cresthall was originally built as a fort against the west and checkpoint for all trade and traveling going between Revendell and Eivendcross. The city was made with great walls and deep dry moat. Its towers were tall and proud and the walls were protected by dozens ballista. The many towers that stand their post around the outer city walls has given the city the nickname "City of a hundred towers". Throughout the third age the city grew in size and use for Revendell and would become much like a second capital for the nation. After the new calamity much of the city was still standing, even though parts were broken and many towers needed reconstruction it quickly rose back up and became the defensive citadel many knew it as.
Industry & Trade
Cresthall serves its main purpose even now. As a trade and travel checkpoint between the Trugarian Empire and Revendell. Even though the city has other forms of industry and businesses, trade still remains its greatest asset to Revendell.
Geography
Cresthall is built on top of a big hill in an otherwise flat and plain area. There is a rich nature around and a few small rivers runs past the city. The biggest and most unique part of the surrounding area of Cresthall are its rich oil fields to the south east. The fields are massive and quite dangerous if traversed without the right knowledge.
