Maleina was an excellent duelist who prefered her saber. Maleina never wore or wielded Green Edge after she got it from Cathal, she instead gave it to her son, who wore it as a symbol.

Personal history
Maleina was not a predicted candidate for the throne when she came to it, but after her coronation became the symbol for Revendell's rebirth after the new calamity. Maleina won the throne from her cousin Cathal Grayhall after defeating him in single combat at the Holm, making Whitehall the crown family once again. She was coronated at the age of 62 in A4 219.

Reign
Maleina's reign lasted 76 years. Her reign was long, stable and had little conflict in it. She was remembered as a great overseer and strategist who both contributed to military conflicts in and outside of her own realm. She was also a great steward to her realm, she brought wealth, jobs and pride back to the country who had suffered much during the calamity and during the reign of the Grayhalls. Because of all her contributions and starting a golden age for Revendell which would not end before A4 516 when her great grandson Cordeyvir II Whitehalll was assassinated by the Crimson Clasp and began a massive war on crime within the kingdom.
