Warlough Slugh

Geography

Warlough Slugh is a big swamp next to the Barnigan Hills and Redwater. The Slugh is made from many layers of dirt and mud of different thickness, on top of the mud there is often a thick layer of dark green moss known as Slugh Moss. Between the fields of moss and mud, there are ponds of redwater, the redwater is a result of the high concentration of resources in the ground.

Fauna & Flora

In Warlough Slugh there are a lot of moss, vines, and roots that cover the ground. There are many ingredients that can be found in the swamp because of the huge diversity in plants. There are also big swamp trees that are elevated above the water by standing on thin roots. There are also many animals and creatures roaming the swamps. Some of these creatures are crocodiles, bullywugs, lizardfolk, stirges, froghemoths, shambling mounds, trolls, gnolls giant insects and there are even rumors of dragons living in the swamp.

Natural Resources

The most common natural resources found in Warlough slugh are salt, swamp trees, reeds, insects and other minerals that are spewed up by the swamp. The ground is also rich in minerals and insects making it a perfect place for some types of livestock like the very rare dire dodo bird which thrives in this environment growing often much bigger here than other places.
