Granite Plains

Located to the east of the Emerald Woodland and to the north of the Nursery Rhyme District, the Granite Plains may not look like much, but they are an important part of Pandora.

Geography

The entire landscape of the Granite Plains is covered in rocks of all shapes, sizes, and minerals, predominantly granite.

Climate

The Granite Plains' climate is quite humid, being located right next to the Turquoise Sea. Warm fronts from said sea warm the plains even in winter.

Fauna & Flora

Being associated with the Earth element, most of the fauna of the Granite Plains are likewise associated with Earth. Basilisks are the apex predator of the Granite Plains, and smaller lizards and lithophilic plants compose the rest of the food web.

Natural Resources

As to be expected, granite is the primary resource of the Granite Plains. The plains also possess a number of other minerals such as marble, mica, and iron.

History

The Granite Plains have served as a passage for faeries coming from the Nursery Rhyme District to Yule City, as going through the Granite Plains and over the Howling Pass is the most direct route between the two places.
