Altairus is a world not entirely unlike our own. However, in Altairus, powerful magic, known as Anima, binds the world together and protects it from harm. All manner of magical beings call this world home, from unicorns to faeries to dragons. In Altairus, the land is a little bit wilder, the colors are a little bit brighter, and everything is just more magical.
Once upon a time, the worlds of Earth and Altairus were best friends. You could travel through an open portal on Earth and visit Altairus. But that doesn't happen anymore. Since the War of the Wendigoes, all portals between Earth and Altairus have been sealed, and Altairus is seen as more of a legend than a reality.
But now, the Heart of Darkness, the prime wendigo that conducted the War of the Wendigoes, has returned to Altairus. And defeating it falls to a new generation of heroes. With the help of a certain storm gremlin and all his friends, Altairus might just be able to banish the evil once more and reconnect the rift between the two worlds.
