The Lake of Avarice

A lake in the city of Pellan'uque Quellarin. On its place once stood a palace of The Nameless House, a drow family that was purged from the official history books and only uttering the name of the fallen family is now forbidden. One can still see some remnants of the once magnificent building and a few pillars which once were part of a magnificent portico still stand on the right side of the lake, when observed from the city centre.

Geography

The lake itself is more of a crater lake, perhaps formed by a powerful explosion which also destroyed most of the Palace.

Fauna & Flora

Many twisted underdark creatures inhabit the dark waters of the lake. The lake and the park that has formed around it is a popular place to spend time and stroll around. Some bravest might even row around the lake with tiny rowboats or the gondolas the nobles prefer.
