Mount Polistine

Place of a devastating eruption

A monstrous volcano that has erupted quite recently. Searching and research is still being done but the believed body count of the eruption is currently 155. It was common knowledge to geologists in Hestiah that Mount Polistine was an active volcano but no one knew that it would erupt so violently. It has wiped out the nearby town of Mennun off the map.

Geography

A large sized volcano with a massive opening at the top. The mountain is still currently billowing plumes of smoke and ash from the top. The volcano itself is quite wide, it lacks a lot of steep cliffs and ledges and is actually a quite manageable hike.

Fauna & Flora

Everything that was living on the Volcano was wiped out. There is very little doubt anything survived.

Natural Resources

With the recent eruption of the mountain, magma and ash can be found almost anywhere on the Volcano. There are researchers that believe the inside of the mountain could actually contain Ice rock that has a temperature warmer than zero degrees Fahrenheit. Which would be an incredible discover for Hestiah and revolutionize their smithing industry.
