Aria
Aria? Folded clothes, hospital corner beds, routine routine routine, a rucksack with your life inside? Why are you surprised I know this. That is the lot of everyone lucky enough to be born in Aria. The only exception are the ones who outlast the military conflicts and who own that damn fine walk-thru restaurant.Aria is a hotbed of conflict and is in a regular tug of war for control and domination of the space. Sitting at the base of the tunnels leading into the the mines of the Nazall Summit and being surrounded by the Aria Wood makes the land rich in resources. The land is always either occupied by Aist Mages and their Aist state friends or it is occupied by the inquisitors and crownsguard. Both use the land for the same reason, growth of resources and a strategic point that puts them close to Lakefort and A'mlon. This has left the true inhabitants of Aria in a strange space, they are used to a military presence and are unfazed by groups of soldiers belonging to either side wandering their streets. Magic is of no concern to them and there may be a large chance they are housing Aist mages through their indifference if nothing else. The town is popular for having an excellent culinary culture and alchemy stores. They are the definition of pacifist neutrality, not picking a side as they know conflict will visit them either way. For those passing through or looking to stay in Aria. The town is full of many movers and those who flee or die. As a result there are many spare cabins in the town that people squat in, either moving on, or sticking around to keep the town running. Visitors have an eerie experience staying in the cabins of a recently or long emptied life.
- A local of King's Bay get's to know their dinner guests.
Government
Governed by whoever is in charge at the time, notably the town is currently occupied by the crownsguard and led by Helm Crown Bizzle, a deeply serious, but not necessarily competent, goblin.
