Elder Tai Shan
Elder Tai Shan is a rather unique character. He does not share the austere and spiritual nature of the other elders and instead seems to be of a unique confidence and manic energy.
He looks distinctly young and is a creature that emerged from the Fey when Dashilla the Dark Queen returned. He does not comment on his homeland anymore and is rumoured to have approached Elder Caste with no earthly possessions and fell to his knees, begging for fulfilment and enlightenment.
Tai Shan seems uncaring and relaxed, fidgeting and jogging his legs as well as whistling and challenging various students in sparring matches, though the reality to those who have seen it is that he cares more deeply than most do. The Monastery of Flowers was built by him and Elder Caste but Tai Shan very much sees the monastery as proof of the healing power of mortals and specifically Elder Caste.
As a result, there has been rumour that Tai Shan is so light because he was instructed to be by Caste... hoping a clear difference between the two of them, with the third elder skirting the moral and behavioural space between them would offer a clear metaphor required by many students who seek enlightenment.
Tai Shan is a tall and lithe Fey-Elf, with Ginger curled hair and green eyes. He is a skilled martial artist and often showboats with his skills... he is especially acrobatic and quick in his movements across any sparring space... he has also been known to use fey magic to twist and cheat around his enemy, implying that life may have cheats and swindlers but one should be able to overcome them to further find joy and succeed.
