They're spiritual, calm and wise but by the gods don't get on the wrong side of one who has been trained with the Monastery of Flowers, they are whirlwinds to battle against without weapons... put a blade in their hands or one of their skyblinder staves and you may as well have said goodbye to your loved ones in advance.
The Monastery of Flowers seek balance. Balance with the elements and balance within themselves and it is this same mindset they apply to all problems they are approached with. This has led to them choosing neutrality in the war over the protection act as they fail to see balance with either sides mindset... this has also led to those who haven't truly experienced the monastery of flowers to accuse them of cowardice.
Those who achieve this state of spirituality do so through meditative exercises, philosophy and stargazing. They also learn self defence and survival during this period to give notion to the idea of a healthy body/healthy mind and also seeing the idea of weapons as optional for survival.

The Mirrored and have taken steps in the past to go into outright conflict with
The Elected Crown of Alturis., they usually work for pay.
There are (usually) three elders, master monks who have found inner peace and are INCREDIBLY skilled warriors and martial artists. Though, there was only two for a time after the death of elder Long-Stride... now that Elder Tai-Shan is dead, the only remaining elder is Elder Caste who was also the founder of the monastery post-dread king.
-Underneath them, the monastery has not forgot it's roots as a home for the wayward, space of peace and a centre to train individuals to become monks. As a result, there is a 'Master' of each school of the monastery (open palm, drunken master, kensei and sun soul... shadow and death monks aren't accepted as school in the monastery).

Master Tyrin Denorth who is a former warrior and adventurer who found redemption and peace with the monastery.
- The head of the Sun Soul school is Master
Asharra Zenkei who is the youngest ever master of a school and is seen as a prodigious high-flyer.
- The head of the Drunken Master school is the strange figure known as
The King who has the least students and many do not know is the master of the most underrated monk school.
-After that there are individuals focused on maintaining the monastery such as former now older monks... monks in training are also often given these roles for extra responsibilities and as punishment for bad discipline etc. Some examples of these include the quartermaster
Alard Stone in charge of the Monasteries stores and the head chef of the monastery of flowers is
Delthea whilst they use aspirants to assist in their work.
-Aspirants are monks in training who have not found a role in the monastery and so continue training.
The Monastery of Flowers believe in a culture of peace, dance, debate and training. They draw comparisons between a healthy mind and a healthy body and it constitutes their core beliefs. They don't believe in worship of deities though they do believe in learning from a deity's teachings and utilising them.
