Squall's End
If the fucking pirate king decides to speak with the people of Squall's end with anything other than pure aggression than the Elected Crown could be destroyed at sea and entirely penned in from the east and West. Umala may be fearless pirates and privateers but Squall's End and their naval Sea Elves and Tritons could give them the organisation to dominate the seas of Alturis for a very long time.Squall's end consists of Genasi, Tritons and Sea Elves primarily. The natural tempestuous sorcery of the people and their hardy focus on survival has made them a fierce threat in the ocean as both pirates and an organised navy. Recently they decided to stand against the Protection Act and have since used dunamancy and Necromancy to build a force of ships and crew that can barely be matched by the Elected crown at sea... there have since been rumours of a dialogue building between the people of Squall's End and the Pirate King.

Government
Sea Wanderer rules the militant people of Squall's End and have turned them into a fighting force of organisation and skill. They lack the talent and incredible skill of the privateers of Umala but Wanderer has surrounded himself in tacticians and military generals who have joined the cause with passion and this has given Squall's End a unique advantage.
Defences
Squall's End is a considerable fortress. It's walls are thick with arcane turrets and ballista that stand atop them and are manned at all hours. Meanwhile it's navy and fleet ensure they are not attacked by the water.
Infrastructure
Squall's End utilises the infrastructure of the town it once was and builds on that to ensure it retains a civilised sense of what it was. This is helped by many in the town loving the Wanderer family and choosing to allow themselves to be led by the charismatic sea wanderer.
Assets
Squall's End sits on considerable wealth from their leader and their control of a large portion of Alturis' seas.
Though their search for more wealth and resources has recently brought them into smaller conflicts in the open waters close to Umala Coast. Drawing the gaze of the Pirate King who sacrifices their hunting grounds to no one.
