Taren-too-Deep
"Oh, don't let her manners turn you off, Taren is a catch when you get to know her... especially if you are something of an 'alcohol appreciator'..."Taren-too-deep is the tabaxi owner of Taren's Tinctures in Edmonton. A tabaxi with a mixture of blue and cream coloured fur, Taren notably doesn't have a tail and always wears gloves while they work. They are the former lover of Curious. Currently jilted by their recent arguments and there is a deep anger between the two of them.

Taren is in good shape and, judging by the training garden of her home, often trains to remain fighting fit.

Personal history
Taren moved to Edmonton after being an Umala privateer as a child, her skill with alchemy was fostered there and she became especially skilled with creating reliable potions at speed.
Eventually, she became sick of the life of monster hunting and devoted herself to a small alchemist shop in Edmonton where she could make money from the Umala coast and have a comfortable life.
A year later, Curious established Curious Curiousity's next door and the two struck a fast friendship that turned into an affair that turned into a deeper relationship.
They dated in this way for three years, however, a month ago they had a tough break up after Taren admitted that she was getting Curious' hired mercenaries drunk so they wouldn't be able to complete their job. Taren did this because she could no longer deal with Curious making dangerous excursions that she would often return from near death.

Taren identifies as a lesbian and also practises Polyamory and actively engages in open relationships.
Failures & Embarrassments
Taren was left deeply embarrassed by an especially passionate argument in public between her and Curious in which Curious announced that she had never loved her and left Taren in tears.
Mental Trauma
Her time with the Umala privateers has left Taren with a fatalist mindset and a fixation on brewing potions and alcohol... she is something of a workaholic in this respect as it helps her forget her own fears and nightmares.

Taren is a skilled alchemist though somewhat lacking in creative flair.
