The God's Chest

The God's Chest was the key item that The Dread King used to dominate Alturis. Using it to trap every deity that occupied Alturis before the Dread King arrived.
The Dread King placed them inside the God's Chest and gave it to his general The Collector to protect it in their lair. 
Eventually this chest came into the hands of the True Heroes and they used it to free the gods within the chest and re-establish the Alturis pantheon.
The God's Chest is now a display piece in the Magus Centre Kings Bay as a record of the history and victory of Alturis.

Significance

The God's Chest was used to trap and destroy the pantheon during the reign of the Dread King but, when the True Heroes came into possession of the chest. They freed the gods of the pantheon and re-established divinity in Alturis.
