Vorugal The Devourer

• Vorugal interacts with Persicorum as they feed him a very large quantity of blood.

Vorugal the Devourer is a creature that the party haven't DIRECTLY met but have interacted with. 
They first me him in The Sanctuary of All when they were traveling through The Mammoth Peaks after their adventures in The Feywild. 
Vorugal was displayed as a strong and powerful brute of a Hobgoblin who wielded a heavy curved, black blade and heavy armour. The party discovered that Vorugal was a Goblin warband leader who benefited from the power and influence of Drahz Grymhook and had a philosophy that the secret to growing in power was not just to defeat their enemies but to also consume them. 
This eventually led to him becoming crazed, arrogant and challenging the Lady of Pain, this drew her clear ire but, instead of sending one of her agents, like the revenant Drahz Grymhook she decided to trick Vorugal by sending an avatar of Zuggtmoy, the abyssal princess of fungi, to challenge him. When Vorugal killed this agent he then consumed it and, in doing so, was struck with the power of the Abyss but also with the diseases of the princess of Fungi herself. This left Vorugal banished to the abyss and beholden to Zuggtmoy and Lady of Pain though he still has a heavy following across Alturis
