Falfala Du'a

A highly infectious, slow-killing magical plague that was dispersed disperesed throughout Adan and would eventually infect an estimated 99.2% of the global population. While Falfala Du'a had an extremely low mortallity rate for the first five years of its propegation, its rate of killing exponentially increased. Nys attempted to combat against the plague by executing anyone that is infected by it; however, the rate of infection far exceeded that of her disposals efforts. She turned to creating Irappu Vetikkum, which would be dispersed through the atmosphere, enter into the body of the infected, and dissolve the Falfala Du'a, in turn killing its host. While initially an effective way of preserving the life of the uninfected, Falfala Du'a mutated to combat the Irappu Vetikkum. Rather than more-or-less "dissolving" the diseased-person and the disease itself and then fizzling out, the chemicals released from the reaction would be a catalyst for an explosion when exposed to any biological matter. The explosion launched the highly corrosive chemical in a large area, splattering everything around it. This chemical would then dissolve any biological thing it touched, then causing another explotion. This created a nearly unstoppable chain-reaction that caused an estimated 99.9% of all life on earth to be killed. Further, the explosions were so constant and so great, that the continent itself got fractured and split itself into hundreds of small islands. This event is known as The Rend .   Falfala Du'a was an everpresent plague that persisted for the next 200,000 years, causing any groups, tribes, or larger societies to be turned to nothing but a catalyst for a Rend event. Eventually, the people of Aluth would gain an immunity towards the plague, and would move past its strangle-hold on society.
