Nemed
The Semi-Mythical leader of the Tuatha de Danaan, who led the settlement on Emain Ablach
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Nemed is revered in the oral tradition of the Tuatha de Danaan as a great druid and Ard Rí , who led them to safety on Emain Ablach after an unknown cataclysm, possibly the Tear.
Little is know of Nemed's life prior to the fateful voyage, only that he left the homeland of the Eladan with a fleet of 44 Windships borne on grey stormclouds. The fleet exited Faerie near Rupes Nigra, traversing Gandvik and the Mor Marv before encountering a tower of gold, possibly the island fortress of Tír na nÓg, which they attempt, and fail, to take.
The fleet, battered by storm and battle, finally made landfall on Emain Ablach, battling Fomorian pirates and Tomhaidhm Bleed
Gender Identity
Although most Eladan sources Nemed to be male, others attest that they were in fact a female leader named Nemetona, a Warrior Goddess and Druidess. While this view is in the minority, it has a significant amount of adherents among the Sidhe.
