Plains Elf

Plains elves typically live and move in semi-nomadic bands of 50 - 200 individuals. They survive by forage and hunting. 
Physically, plains elves are on the shorter side for elves, much closer in height to dwarves, ranging from 4'2" to 5'4". Extremely tall specimens may stand as high as 5'8", while extremely short folk may be as short as 3' 10". They, like most elves, are slight of build. Their hair is nearly always straw-colored. Two or three in a generation per band have hair the color of well-watered grass. Their skin tones range from tan to darkest brown. Their eye colors vary widely and can be red, brown, green, blue, purple, pink or grey.
