Perks are features that players add to their character to grant passive effects, learn new abilities, and hone playstyle. Perks can be found across all three Spheres, and some even have requirements that span multiple Attributes and multiple Spheres. Advanced Perks such as these can be likened to features of Multiclassing in other RPGs. Typically, a character may have a number of Perks (and/or Spells) equal to their Attribute scores. For example, the character Kazul in the character creation guide had a Strength score of 15, meaning he could have up to 15 Strength Perks. However, his Intelligence score was only 3, meaning he could only have up to 3 Intelligence Perks. Remember that a player is never required to select as many Perks/Spells as they are allowed. As there are numerous options, and the choice is permanent, Perk selection can be an overwhelming process. Therefore it is important to encourage players to take their time when selecting Perks, and to choose the options that are best for their character's identity, their playstyle, and the story they want to live.
