Demon-Lashed Coin

I've done it. I've made contact with intelligence beyond a rift. And there's ridiculously more than we ever imagined. The shadow creature I've met has shown me so much about harnessing the magic beyond our world. I'll finally take my deserved ranking in Paritet through the power I now control.
Sheila Lash
The round, bronze coin was blank and perfectly smooth before the lashing. Both sides now show the same angular—and rather handsome—male face, smiling almost wickedly. Once picked up, raw anger can be felt roiling off of it, and the demon within can talk to the holder telepathically.

Abilities

Summon. Once per long rest, the demon can be summoned from the coin and commanded. Any of the abilities listed below can be used. Lasts for 10 minutes, or until the demon hits 0 hit points. The summoned demon uses the Shadow Demon stat block.   Liar's Eye. After possessing for at least one hour, the carrier gains: This creature has advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks and as a bonus action they automatically detect the location of all illusions and hidden creatures within 15ft of it.

Known Abilities of the Demon

The demon must be given explicit permission in order to use the following abilites.   Rift Control. The demon can open, close, and navigate through rifts.   Change Appearance. The demon transforms its appearance. The bearer of the coin can decide what the demon looks like, otherwise it decides. Height, weight, facial features, sound of its voice, hair length, coloration, and distinguishing characteristics, if any, can be decided upon. It can appear as a member of another race, though none of its statistics change. It also can't appear as a creature of a different size than it, and its basic shape stays the same.   Innate Spellcasting. The demon's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15). It can cast the following spells once per day, each, requiring no material components: Seeming, Phantasmal Force, Programmed Illusion, Confusion

The lashing was immensely difficult. Several times I thought I would die, drained of life while trying to summon and lash the creature—a demon—to the coin. I surely would have failed if not for having the demon's name. And that was possible because of Sheila. It seemed appropriate she at least get some credit, despite her crimes. Hence, the "lashed" and "lashings".
