Amrimita Goldshine
(a.k.a. The Right Hand of Dawnbank)
When Amrimita first emerged from the Glimmering Grotto, many struggled with adjusting to day to day life, and she was no exception. Having memories and skills that suited city living, Amrimita struggled to fit in with the labour-intensive aspects of Dawnbank, though she did her best to partake in any way possible. As life became more settled, she eventually gained a job as a house cleaner until late into the year 4 PW, when murmurings of a mayor being elected arose. Amrimita decided that this would be her moment. She travelled around town and somewhat interviewed all those in the running, searching for who she thought would fit the position best, eventually settling on Digby Chardag, a Human man who had been working heavily in the new building industry in the area. She offered him her assistance in return for a position in his office, and Digby, who at the time struggled with some of the more complex issues, agreed immediately. Many believe that without the assistance of Amrimita, Digby would have never gained his position as mayor, though eventually, their heavy reliance on the logistical and legal issues of the town is what led Edvard the Light to take power in the position.
Amrimita did not return to her job after this, deciding to search for someone better to replace what she knew was a corrupt leader, and she eventually again settled on a good prospect for the position, Sakhir Bahla. Sakhir, unlike Digby, had a better understanding of the position and ran a heavy campaign exposing Edvard's corruption. When 10 PW came around, Sakhir Bahla won with 90% of the total votes, and Amrimita once again joined the mayoral office. She stayed during all of Sakhir's service, and was requested to stay when Lumi Smith took the position in 30 PW, which she happily accepted.
Amrimita works as the right hand of the mayor to this day, often working on important documents and on the financial struggles of the position. She is a vital worker in Dawnbank's town hall and is widely respected due to the great work that she often performs, often being publicly named and praised by those she serves under.
