Lumi Smith
As the first born Native Soul (that we know of) on Amaltheon, Lumi Smith became a celebrity of sorts in the town of Dawnbank. Lumi was observed by many in the town, as they effectively used her as a guinea pig for many of the baby care options in the town, as even though there had been a few children among The First, this was the first baby everyone had seen in Amaltheon. Many organisations made attempts to try and get the Smith family to allow Lumi to work with and alongside them, such as the Church of Dawn, who are said to have sent Logan the Light personally to try and get the young girl immediately into the church, though the Smith family declined, deciding to raise their first child more in line with the regular day to day living of most Dawnbank residents.
When Lumi was young, she was discovered to be a fantastic singer and would even perform some shows with the very well known Silvery Bards, and it is said she grew quite close with their leader, Belagrind Hazoret, also known as Mother Hazoret. In her early teens, Lumi took up carpentry and other forms of woodwork, which would eventually lead to her helping in the reconstruction of Firstport in her early 20s. Many of the houses and buildings she helped build go for a higher price to this day, both for the fact that she worked on them and due to their higher value compared to the others in the area. Eventually, Lumi would find herself growing more interested in helping guide those of the land, and in her mid to late 20s, she started making a push towards becoming mayor of Dawnbank, though she did lose the 25 PW election to Sakha Bahla's second term campaign. When Bahla planned to retire in the year 29 PW, he publicly endorsed Smith, and she became the new mayor of Dawnbank in the year 30 PW, a position she holds to this day, with overwhelmingly higher polling than any other candidate.
Lumi Smith, as mayor, is now known for her generous spending of Dawnbank funds to help those who are worse off, and for actively pitching in with work around the area, seeing herself as being employed by the people who elected her, even going as far as personally repairing damage in many Dawners houses. This positive image is the reason she won her second term in 35 PW, and is also the reason she looks set on regaining her position again in the upcoming 40 PW.
