Tel'dath

The Tel'dath are a small creature that, at the time of its discovery, was unlike any creature ever seen on Amaltheon by Wanderer or Native Souls alike. The Tel'dath were first seen during an attack on Dawnbank with another type of creature that is likely from the same place, the Tel'promak.   The Tel'dath were first spotted by Cameo, Heothun, Juniper, Maeralya, and Ruben when they all went to help save a southern street of Dawnbank from an attack in which they emerged from an underground tunnel, presumedly dug by the Tel'promak.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Tel'dath seem to have an armoured shell that covers the top half of their body, with a soft underbelly and tenctacles dangling beneath. They have large eyes in proportion to their bodies, though where their pupils would be, instead sits a large, misty white circle. Additionally, the creatures seem to have an inherent resistance to psychic damage, likely due to their own psionic abilities.

Behaviour

Tel'daths have been seen to attack and attempt to latch onto creatures. Once a Tel'dath achieves this, all Tel'dath in the area will swarm the target and attempt to kill it as soon as possible. The creatures seem to use fear as a weapon, striking down foes quickly and taunting nearly dead prey.Tel'daths have been seen to attack and attempt to latch onto creatures. Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Tel'dath have been observed moving quite quickly and efficiently in the dark, meaning they can likely see very well in it. They have also been observed telepathically communicating with victims and taunting them, meaning they have some range of psionic abilities.
