The Party Investigate the scene of the Attack

After catching their breath, the party begins to investigate the hole from which the strange creatures attacked. Juniper climbs down into the hole on a rope supported by Maeralya, where she sees a small light further down fizzle out, and when she approaches, she finds a 15-foot perfectly spherical chamber with no sign of entry, only the tunnel from which the creatures emerged. Upon returning to the surface, the party discusses what this could mean, and Ruben suggests some form of teleportation magic, though he states it would need to be powerful magic to clear the ground. The party then spots Dawnbank guards arriving at the scene, where they meet Captain Jon Londroff, who appears to see the party as a gift from the lady of light herself. The party exchanged information with the captain before handing the scene over to him before returning back to the Town Hall to get some rest.
