Tel'Promak

The Tel'dath are a small creature that, at the time of its discovery, was unlike any creature ever seen on Amaltheon by Wanderer or Native Souls alike. The Tel'promak were first seen during an attack on Dawnbank with another type of creature that is likely from the same place, the Tel'dath.   The Tel'dath were first spotted by Cameo, Heothun, Juniper, Maeralya, and Ruben when they all went to help save a southern street of Dawnbank from an attack in which they emerged from an underground tunnel. These creatures seemed to target townsfolk and revel in the idea of killing them.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The Tel'promak are covered almost head to toe in a hard, chitaneous armour, with soft, exposed red flesh peeking out of the joint areas. Their teeth are large, and some curl outside of their mouth, allowing them to be seen even when the jaws are closed. Much like their allies, the Tel'dath, the Tel'Promak also seem to have a resistance to psychic damage, though they don't outwardly show any psionic abilities.

Behaviour

The Tel'promak seem to take enjoyment in killing, trying to attack vulnerable targets and even killing their downed prey. They have also been seen to mock humanoid laughter in combat, though this could be a coincidence. Also, when slain, their bodies seem to freeze in place, with the muscles still finding a way to hold the monster's weight.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Tel'promak do not have eyes and, presumably, do not have the ability to see, though they have been observed to react to sound quite strongly. They also seem to rely on smell, though not nearly as much as they do on hearing.
