Strange Creatures attack Dawnbank

Military: Battle

After many hours of downtime, the party is interrupted by a guard hastily requesting their presence on the south side of Dawnbank due to a sinkhole opening up and reports of noises coming from inside. The party grabbed their gear and rushed down to the street where the hole had been spotted, this being the street on which Highly Strung was located. The party arrived as strange creatures burst from the hole: many swarming floating creatures and one larger creature that did not possess any eyes. The party fought bravely as many more monsters emerged from the hole, managing to keep them away from the townsfolk, and some of the monsters nearly claimed Cameo's and Heothun's lives in the process. Eventually, one broke free and managed to kill a man in his home before being swiftly slain by Maeralya. After 3 to 4 waves of the monsters, they stopped coming out as the party recouped themselves and caught their breath.
